What is this?

Chicago is known for it's comedy community. There's theatre, sketch comedy, improv, stand-up and the lot. I take my sketchbook and sketch the people on stage or illustrate lines of dialogue from these amazing shows. These are done in the darkness of the theatre, and usually take 30 seconds to 3 minutes to do.

Most of these will be from the Annoyance as I intern there every week and absolutely love it.

About Me

Cassie: I graduated from Columbia College Chicago where I studied Traditional Animation and then moved from the mid-west to California to intern with Nickelodeon Animation. I live in Burbank, CA, and currently work at Disney TV Animation.

I draw a comic called Nerds with Beards as well as keep a comic diary at Life Scientist. I'm a nerd for space and kitty cats!
